Committees

The Chamber has several committees which allow members to use their talents, in areas that interest them, to serve the Chamber.  Participation on a committee is a good way to develop new business relationships.

Plans and organizes the annual dinner of the Kansas City South Foundation which will be held on   March 1, 2008.             

Meets:  4th Tuesday of each month at 8:00 a.m.

Work collectively with the Hickman Mills, Center and Grandview School Districts to develop programs to prepare students for a future as leaders of the community.

Meets:  1st Tuesday of each month at 3:00 p.m.

Coordinates the annual Golf Tournament held each year in July.

Meets:  The last Tuesday of each month at 11:30 a.m.

Studies and makes position recommendations to the board of directors on local, state and federal legislative issues of interest to businesses and prepares legislative priorities.

Meets:  Meeting dates to be determined

Leads efforts to retain existing members and recruit new members.

Meets:  4th Wednesday of each month at 8:00 a.m.
